Oscar rush

Trying to get back into movies yet again. I just watched Nights of Cabiria, so my Netflix queue is finally moving again after about a month. Inglorious Basterds is coming tomorrow. I've heard pretty good stuff about it. And after that is Throne of Blood—just in time for a re-reading of Macbeth. Kurosawa is ALWAYS fun, but I've never seen this one. On the new movies front, I'm basically going down the list of movies at the local theaters: Crazy Heart, Single Man, Most Dangerous Man in America, Hurt Locker, Shutter Island, Ghost Writer, White Ribbon. I can tell instinctively that this is gonna be a be-as-impulsive-as-possible-for-as-long-as-you-can kind of situation ... so I'll just try to make the most of it. MWF
